Resolving the problem The error is not something to be concerned about, however, it will be a slight performance hit because the albd will not re-use the db_server that reports this I just decided to turn on idled this weekend on our server, and discovered that since I didn't run ./configure with the '--enable-idled' option, idled wasn't compiled (and I assume support https://www.clearos.com/clearfoundation/social/community/error-sending-to-idled-3-annoying-messages

After a week of strange errors the problem disappeared the same way it came. Hi, Here are the parameters we used: Lockmgr -a almd -f 2275 -u 19500 -q 86000 SharedSection=1024,3072,2048,512 We have rebooted the server after the change. This machine has a full install of W2K8 STD SVR 64 bit but is used for nothing else. Thanks and regards, radub.

Out of nowhere...back to nowhere. If I give it a user and login password it starts. I then installed the msi files on the old XP Pro 32 bit machines, the Windows 7 64 Bit machine and Windows 2008 Server machine. No more errors or warning whatsoever.

After starting, imapd process creates own unix socket {configdirectory}/socket/idle. (by call idle_enabled()). Only situation, where idle. is removed is described in (a). Other cyrus-imapd processess (imapd, lmtpd) leaves idle. too. Out of nowhere...back to nowhere.

Any other thoughts. his explanation idle cmd="idled" listen="/var/lib/imap/socket/idle" prefork=0 ... } But I continuously see messages in the log file like: imap[18492]: error sending to idled: 2 And I don't see any idled processes running: sardine:/etc More... After 10 more hours of usual errors and warnings (vobrpc, db_server, etc), without any change the server got back to normal.
