I guess there is no fix.The weird thing is, earlier in the day I was able to launch X. I'm pretty sure the startx stopped after I updated as well. Now when I start Slack in dmesg I get this message: [drm:r600_ring_test] *ERROR* radeon: ring test failed (scratch(0x8504)=0xCAFEDEAD) Sheesh from one thing to the next.
