To correct, even at legitimate websites, I unchecked = Tools = Internet options = Advanced and then uncheck : "check for signatures on downloaded programs". what about DivX codecs, just got the divx pack lately too. just tried the third party thing hopefully that will fix it. That's all i can offer. It's in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer. In the Settings box, click to clear the Use HTTP 1.1 check box under HTTP 1.1 settings, and then click OK. That's odd.

I have been working on this problem on my home pc for hours when I could oh lets say be spending time working, being with my family, studying, working out whatever.
